Event Admission Rules

There will be a “Member and 1 Guest” Policy in place for Staffordshire YFC events.

Paid up members of Staffordshire Young Farmers you can sign in one guest to an event. Anyone trying to attend an event who is not a member and does not have a current valid membership card will not be allowed in, unless signed in by a current Staffordshire YFC member. You must note that if you sign in a guest and that guest causes any problems in breach of our Policy On Standards Of Personal Behaviour, then this could ultimately lead to the loss of your membership card. We strongly recommend that members do not sign in guests that they do not know.

Members of surrounding Counties, including Cheshire, with a current membership card will be allowed to attend but not sign in any guests.

Please also note it is the policy of Staffordshire Young Farmers that anyone under the age of 18 must be a current YFC member to attend our events.

Staffordshire Young Farmers will be using wristbands at all functions as a proof of age for those over 18. It is the member’s responsibility to prove their age at the door. All under 18’s attending the functions must be current members. This will apply to all events.

Competition Entry Ages

Please remember, as of the 1st of September 2003, anyone wishing to take part in any competition must have a current photograph YFC card with them. As of September 2003 the YFC age ranges are 16 and under, 21 and under, 26 and under on the 1st September.

This means that if your 26th birthday falls between 1st September 2008 and 31st August 2009, you will be able to compete during the 2009-2010 competitions year (i.e. during your 27th year).

The Young Farmers year finishes on 31st August so current membership cards will no longer be valid after that date. However, as in previous years, for the month of September, the just-expired cards will be valid for competitions and events.

Ingestre Suite. Tickets are £23 and include a 3-course meal and entertainment by Bruce Salt Disco. Booking forms have been sent out to clubs, but if you need more then please contact the Office. Please encourage members, associates, friends and family to support this event, and have an enjoyable night. Deadline for bookings is Monday 1st March 2010.

Please note the new date. This will be held at Heaton House Farm, Rushton Spencer (same venue as last year). The DJ is Sounds Solutions (who did the Rally last year) and tickets will be £12.50 and are with your Club Ticket Sellers until 12th March.
